Birds do it, bees do it, but we don’t

Focus is one thing I lack, for that matter I lack many things in life, lets not get into my ‘nikamapan’ and shortcomings, and get myself depressed, anyway, a little too old to change now. I realized, I haven’t put anything in my blog for almost over a month, for I am a very impulsive man, nothing is planned out, so are my blog entries. Lately work has been keeping me busy, but not that busy that I don’t have time to blog, just a lame excuse for my lethargy. At a time, you feel everyone is moving too fast, except you, the whole world is changing but you. I used to be a news junkie, but these days, talking heads on the TV gets on my nerve. Media corporate in US, doesn’t report news, they manufacture them, like Pharmaceuticals, they first invent the drug, and latter search for the disease to cure with. So, I have gave up on news, I don’t watch them any more at least form the
US networks. Reminded me of, I am a part of Orwellian society of ‘1984,’ just a minion in the giant cog wheels. May be I should read, a Chomsky’s ‘Manufactured Consent’ to have a different perspectives on the matters, a good catharsis for the conditioned mind, I guess. Lately, news cables have been flooding with ‘Virginia Tech Massacre,’ and it shows how news business is not different than any other business—profit making. 24 hours, all major networks reported the news, making the jamboree out of tragedy. They had all sorts of experts on their show to have their take on the killer’s mind to fill the 24 hours slot. The debate swung from lack of security in campus to influence of video games on young mind. Surprisingly, debate on ‘Gun Control’ was non-existent, few networks gave few minutes to it, but it was smothered by the shills of strong gun lobby. Amazing, they call themselves civilizes society. Cho’s action might have had a backlash on the Asian community, but at the same time, it gave an unsolicited image of ‘Crazy Nuts’ to the people of small eyes too. I will tell you why? The other day, few of my friends and I were at the bar. I am an introvert, and I don’t like going to bars, but once a while its fun to see the circus. It reminds me of a documentary on National Geographic on matting habits and ritual of insects. On how crickets make that ‘kit-kit’ noise, on how bugs give out scents, and change into iridescent colors to attract opposite sex. Same thing happens in the bar but in a subtler ways, just a different setting and different ecology. I usually take my drink, and try to find the darkest corner, where I can hide myself and my insecurities, and watch the circus with amazement while tucked away in the safety of social seclusion, my corner. And my hopeful (hopeful of getting laid) friends went ahead to mingle with the crowd. For I have been to this country for a while to understand that a white guy with a leper has a better chance of scoring a white blond/brunette than the brown prince. So, I said to myself, few things are better learnt on your own than taught. So, told my friends, go tigers go, go get them all, with patronizing smile, for I knew, by the end of the night, their egos would be perforated more than ‘momo pakaune vado.’ Finished my drink, had to come out of my corner to get another drink, while I was walking to the bar, there were few pool tables on the way, and the place was crowded like hell. I was wiggling through people, and I realized I just bumped into a guy who was going to shoot a ball; I just made him miss the cue. That’s not a good thing to do while people are betting on their game. So, I stopped there to apologize, and this guy turns towards me, he was over six feet, and a huge black dude. And, I told him I was very sorry that I made him miss his shot. To my surprise, he started apologizing to me with the same earnest that I had been apologizing to him with, he says in his defense that it was not my fault, he should have been more cautious in a crowd like that. He feared me as much as I feared him. We both apologized to each other, and I walked away much amazed, didn’t understand why would he do so. Then on the way to the bartender, I realized, it’s just been a day that Cho incident had happened. No sane person wants to take a beef with a crazy nut like Cho looking guy, that’s me. So, I bought next round of drink and cheered it to the tormented soul of Cho—rest in peace in hell for empowering a pale people. By god! White boys can’t dance, there were shit load of people dancing to the music, but these two white boys were noticeable at least to me. One was dancing like, when your both hands are tied together, and you need to scratch your butt crack badly, and you do so by wiggling, that is how he was dancing. It seemed pretty funny to me. And the other white guy was dancing like ‘nagin’ to ‘sapera’s’ bin. Reminded me of Hindi movie, where Sri Devi dances like snake while Amris Puri plays his bin, forgot the movie’s name. But, it’s all about call for mating, birds do it, bees do it, so do we, in our own crazy ecology called society. But some are freak of nature, like us, brown and smelly, who would never get to mate, until mother finds you one.

haha … another good read, nothing out of the ordinary …
“white boys cant dance” .. should see me try to do it … the only way i know how must look like my left hand was tied up to the ceiling so i had to put it up and was wiggling to get it free, while my right hand was super-glued to my pocket. My body, from neck down is paralyzed stiff, while the head bobs … as if calling for help … and help i need ….

now now .. Suman dai … had the guy given you a cold stare, it wouldve prompted a blog as well … amazing how we seem to want something of people and doubt the motive soon as we receive it … maybe he was a guy there after work to have a good time and couldnt care less about the stupid game of pool :) :)
Cho or not, lets enjoy apologies and social harmony while sophisticated mating rituals are performed …

  12. pakhe on May 4, 2007

    couple of things ….
    AiemMe : … is the term “e-male” a play on words or just a typo :D ?

Is May really the month for masturbation ? If so, I need to increase my rate …. maybe set a record …. :) :) ….

  13. gols on May 4, 2007

    MAY-sturbation, that’s why!

  14. Nara on May 5, 2007

I guess e-male is intentional. Didn’t you notice “penetrates”?

  15. AiEmME on May 5, 2007

Pakhe, e-male was deliberately written. Not typo at all.
Nara is correct. “Penetrates” explains the ….. (I did not get any word.) :P

Gols, I asked one of my American professors recently why the US doesn’t think over gun control after the VTech tragedy.

He said that some are now opining that gun is a must for “personal safety”.

Hehehe….Cho like countenace provided you with some respect. Respect?:O No dude (saying dude to myself). That was fear.

“Birds do it, bees do it, but we don’t”. Title is damn impressive.
    Let me add something.
Animals fight for mate and food. We human animals fight for ego also. That’s why we are evolved. :)

hehe … You know your blog has become popular when it is blatantly used for advertising purposes :D

  18. AiemMe on May 9, 2007

Pakhe, you too are advertising your site. I have visited you many times from Gols’ site. :))

Gols, why don’t you ask for some moneny from the advertisers? :P :)) :))

Don’t ask from me. Because I gave you this idea. Hheheheh :)))

  19. AiemMe on May 9, 2007

Pakhe, you too are advertising yourself dude. :)

Gols, I can give you an idea. You charge some bucks for advertisement. :)

For bloggers, commenting is one of the easy ways of making their site popular.

But sometimes it firebacks. Somebody can sabotage your name!

  20. pakhe on May 9, 2007

    AiemMe :

I am not claiming I belong to a different genre altogether, but I believe there is subtle difference.
The comment I was mentioning just has the url of the individual’s blog, and no other comment, let alone one pertaining to this entry. I have material in my comment (now whether or not the thoughts are worth to be here is open ended). I log in automatically whenever I visit any wordpress site from my computer, so in order for me to not “advertise” I would have to specifically log out for commenting purposes.
You can ofcoure claim my sole motive behind writing on anyone else’s site to be advertising, and I would have no ground to prove you otherwise. … AAhh arguments arguments ….. :)

  21. AiEmMe on May 10, 2007

    I agree pakhe.

  22. AiEmMe on May 10, 2007

Already there is one volunteer commenting on my behalf!

    I am tired of……., Gols.

Appears that people do not want me to read your blogs. :)
If not so, they don’t want me to comment on your posts.

Sabotage, sabotage and Sabotage. But why?

If you don’t see my real addies, don’t take the commentor for me. If you want, you can put let the comments as they are , however.

By the way, Pakhe, I did not intend to offend. Was just kidding buddy. :)))
